Red Dog has been serving Georgia’s public safety officers for nearly 20 years.  In 2002, we moved next to the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.  Forsyth, the town we call home, is small but has become the public safety hub for our state. Our community’s world class facilities even attract representatives from other states and countries for joint task operations, expert discussions, and as dignitaries.  We are proud to search to the ends of the earth for the tools you need to do the best job possible, and for the coolest stuff to show pride in your profession.  In early 2011, we set out to re-vamp our websites to expand our loyal customer base from our Georgia brothers and sisters to reach out and greet all public safety officials nationally and world-wide.  We are steadily expanding our online inventory to meet your needs.  Thank you for visiting, and we look forward to knowing and supporting you.

Our Mascots

We keep a couple of K-9 Mascots in the store for the enjoyment of our customers and ourselves.

Carlee is a Brittany Spaniel, and enjoys lounging around and licking kiddies in the face.  She has been greeting customers since she was eight-weeks-old in 2004.  We like to think of her as the second most well-known dog in Georgia, next to the University of Georgia’s mascot Uga.  Her favorite area to greet customers is the boot area, where she will lay across the bench in order to ensure she will get some attention.

Sammee is a Maltese and has been with us since she was a tiny puppy in January of 2011.  She spends most of her day in the embroidery shop but enjoys going for runs with Carlee and meeting customers.
